Trying to take big steps like traveling on myself for first time to heal
I’m feeling really anxious and conflicted right now. I’ve been planning to go on a trip to a place I’ve never been before, far away, for several days. I don’t know the area, the climate, or even the basic things like what clothes to bring or how to manage daily needs. Hygiene is very important to me, and I’m worried about staying in hotels or unfamiliar places.
I’ve prepared carefully—clothes, jackets, towels, bags for dirty clothes, lip balm, basic supplies. I’ve thought about shoes, comfort, and even small details like tissues. I want to be ready and safe, but I still feel nervous and afraid.
To go, I need financial support. The trip costs 15,000, and I’m thinking of asking for 20,000 to cover extra personal expenses. I feel ashamed and embarrassed even to ask, because I don’t want to burden my guardian. I know she works hard and has her own expenses like rent, food, and daily life. At the same time, I’m scared to talk about this because it feels like a really big risk.
I’m worried she might think it’s too much or unreasonable. I also struggle with asking for money in general—it always makes me feel anxious and fearful. I want to be honest, respectful, and careful, but I also need help to make this trip happen safely. I feel conflicted, scared, and nervous, but I really hope she can understand why I nee
d it.

All you can do is ask, and put forward your case and see what she says.
I went travelling and accomodation is always a good standard.
Check out where you are going, a little bit of research will allow you to know what to wear, bring etc but worry is only consumed and wasted energy.
If you forget something you can always pick it up along the way.
The best of luck with all of your plans 💜💕
It's all that even my guardian when I asked ,she told me to do whatever but still doesn't trust me very much. You see for some reason I rather act stupid then smart.. maybe because that's why or maybe because she thinks that I can't take care of myself..I can feel that she doesn’t trust me fully. And maybe… I can’t blame her. Sometimes I act more clueless than I really am. Maybe that’s why she thinks I can’t take care of myself. But deep down, I wish she’d see how hard I’m trying — how much I don’t want to be a burden.
SoWhenever I have to ask for money, my heart sinks. I feel scared, ashamed, and nervous. It’s like my words get stuck, and my mind goes blank. I keep worrying if it’s too much, if I’ll be a burden, or if I’ll lose trust.
