I am new and I have horrible anger issues I can’t control it. I am destroying my wife and my family. I feel it’s a sickness. I am depressed heavily because of it. I have failed so hard in life and so many depend on me and I can’t even be a good person. I feel so tired of being a failure and letting everyone down I know. Life is just to hard and I am tired and don’t know what to do

It is hard to deal with anger as it is personal ... what makes one person lose it has zero effect on others... no one else can make us happy or angry IF we do not let them.

I examined my triggers .........I am worse if stressed..... so managing stress helps me.... talking it out with someone or writing it down made me see it better...the thing in talking is we get  immediate feedback..... writing and re-reading things shows us the same thing ..but I had to admit i was in control of it.

At first when my friend would say on small things  "why do you let this bother you?   or take it personally? " ... until I realized I DO this.  anger is poisoning yourself.    letting  go  was like a pressure relief valve.

Professional help in my case  was not really effective....... as if i heard one more breathing exercise I would have screamed.   Now truth is some  breathing exercises do help... but I had to unload all the small things I have stored up.   In reality something that was done 3 weeks ago is done ......no one can go back in time to fix whatever it was.

Holding past instances like kindling waiting for a spark to ignite........ was causing me issues in family/ friends and even work.

Being "right" is not worth being alone........ with few people  even wanting to deal with.

it takes looking at yourself a elementary school teacher once said to my class ... only you can push your "MAD" button.   took years for me to see she was right.
