Hi guys,

So now I've moved to a country I've wanted to be in for a long time, and I'm starting a journey that will hopefully lead to me having a career I want and meeting new people. I've worked hard for this.

But to be honest, the time on the plane was incredibly hard for me, and I had a whole mental break once I got here. I feel that I'm not grateful enough and I will still be so depressed even though this is supposed to be my ideal situation. I have been very depressed in this country before, so I know it's possible. I feel that I just can't enjoy things and be happy. I think I need to switch meds so that's part of it.

(tw): to be honest, I've also thought about suicide quite a bit. I have 2 method ideas, although I haven't come close to doing either of them. But I scare myself a lot.

You are going through alot of change!

You need to take it one day at a time.

You will meet people and do a good job.

You need to process your emotions.

Being happy is what matters the most.

That sounds like a lot to go through! Moving can be stressful even if it's positive. It's good you are venting about it here and communicating your feelings to other people. I agree with Amanda that just take it one day at a time.
