does mental health really matter?
i dont know if i should take it seriously or not. most of the people around me doesn't see it as a big deal and im starting to think that it is, so does it really matter?
@mab00
In my opinion, mental health matters a lot in someone's life as it affects our everyday life. Your mental health matters and each of your experience in everyday life is valid. If there's anything bothering you at the moment, feel free to share it with me. I'm here for you. Looking forward for you reply
I totally get what you're saying - it can be hard to see the importance of mental health when the people around us don't give it much attention. But it's actually super important! Taking care of our mental health is just as important as taking care of our physical health. It can affect how we feel, think, and behave, and impact our ability to enjoy life and form healthy relationships.

Mental health in some cases matters more than physical health and can damage ur physical health. There's a stigma surrounding it which is why beyond the time for it to end, but ur mental health determines a multitude of things that u wouldn't expect (hunger, thirst, body temperature - Hypothalamus/ fight or flight - parasympathetic nervous system controlled by ur brain).
No one is immune to the triggers that can make ur mental health a sudden issue. If u don't take care of it, u won't be able to react properly to something that triggers a mental health concern - therapy and maybe a psychiatrist
The more u nurture ur mental health, the better overall u will be
If it matters to you then it is important. I really think it is important for all of us but many don't understand it so they dismiss it. But I also find that when I focus on it too much myself that I get worse. I do better focusing on concrete actions rather than trying to directly control my thoughts. I don't know if that makes sense though.@mab00
