door-slamming
I need some advice on a person in my life who is inching towards the door. I’ve door-slammed a couple times so far but I’m not sure if I should keep him away or ask him if he wants to go since we can’t have a conversation irl. With my depression surfacing during the weeks and days, I’m wondering if it’s better to not have someone in the collateral that could happen if I shut down and pushed everyone away. ( which has happened before ) We’ve kinda grown apart but there’s also been things that I took my blindfold off and saw recently.

Lots of people have communication issues and they dance around the subjects and never clear the air....and the same things happen again and again .... what a change try something different. Learning to talk and communicate effectively IRL is a skill most could work on.
Tell this person when you have a depressive episode you rend to push people and things away and perhaps you are ready to try something new in dealing with this with a person there to help you and opening up about being in a low has always helped me bounce back faster.
@StarrySkies1236 well you learn from past, and mental health issues can't be helped, you pushed others away. But you were ill so not at fault. But don't turn people away now with fear of the past repeating cause who knows, this time might be different. You deserve friends and relationships. Even though it's hard, don't let the past ruin what you could have now ❤❤ gives you a giant festive tiny hug ❤❤ good luck with everything sweetie ❤
