fix me
why do i find it so hard to breathe? why is the simplest thing such as waking up the hardest task to do? why do my random bursts of energy give me hope that this is over but then i sink back into this hole a minute later? i’m tired of feeling so hollow. so numb. nothing. please someone tell me how to fix this. how to fix me.

I'm really sorry you are struggling!
It can be difficult.
Anxiety can come out of nowhere.
It's important you know in these moments, you are safe, I genuinely hope you feel better soon.
What works for me is breaking things down into small and manageable tasks, to take the pressure off 💜💕
@pluckyCoconut4376 I can completely relate to how you are feeling. You are not alone, and I am so sorry you have been struggling so badly.
Remember to be kind to yourself.
Remember that today you may feel this way and tomorrow can be better. Hold on to hope for that.
When I feel this way, I do try and guide myself into having 3 goals for the day: 1 thing that is self care i.e. Brushing you teeth, taking a shower, making your bed, etc. 1 thing that calms the mind. This can be literally any small thing that would typically bring you joy. It can be an art project, just sitting with a loved one to talk, or taking a short walk around the block to enjoy nature for a moment. 1 thing for you. Cook or order yourself your favorite meal and watch your favorite movie, play your favorite game, and if you feel up to it at this point, invite your favorite person to join. Let yourself know that you are worthy of happiness.
Hope this helps 💗
if you need a scientific answer your body isn't doing dopamin as it should (hormone of motivation) and same thing with serotonin (hormone of happiness) so i want you to know
depression is an illness it's not you being lazy it's deeper than that
the only way you can feel better is by trying to heal the many problems (even small ones) one by one so that your brain is able to manage itself and you'll be a lot better
it's not an easy task i'm here if you need to talk you are not alone :)

I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way. What you’re describing (the exhaustion, heaviness, bursts of hope and then crashing back) is a very real part of depression and grief, and it isn’t a sign that you’re broken or beyond help. You don’t have to “fix” yourself alone; reaching out like you just did is already a strong step, and with the right support and treatment these feelings can ease and you can heal, even if right now it feels impossible.
