guys is it ok if i avoid things that make me feel sad or make me feel remenber about my past trauma? i feel like this is very not fair. what did i do wrong? i'm scared of trusting people.. and i really avoided things that remind me of trauma related to those people. i feel like i want to go away from them just so i can feel better..

@hopefulencounter hey there, I can't say "I hope this finds you well" since... you know... Whatever, the thing you're describing is awfully similar to what I struggled with a year ago, and I gotta say, *** is really hard, and I feel you, man. Everyone says that, but they’re right – you’re not alone. Let’s get to the point: I managed to beat whatever was haunting me for at least 5 or 6 months. How I did it was quite literally cutting myself (NO, NOT CUTTING MYSELF, PLEASE NEVER DO THAT) off from the things that caused the "problems." I might not 100% relate to what you're saying, but cutting yourself off from the things or people causing your struggles may be a good idea WHEN you have control over it and can manage it. Because if you just lock yourself in a room – well... that’s just stupid. Instead, try finding new hobbies if your current ones might be bringing you the struggle, OR find new friends if your current ones don’t show any support, laugh at you, or whatever – those aren’t good for you, even if you think they’re harmless. Trust me, those people can ruin you mentally.

But, to sum up, it’s okay to avoid the things you suspect are causing you problems, but you should limit yourself when actually doing that, since, like I said, cutting yourself completely from the outside world is extremely unhealthy, and I have some... let’s say experience with that, that I’m not really keen on. Stay positive king (btw sorry if i sound weird 😭 im not native english speaker)
