Pls help lol
It can literally be the worst. I finally ended up taking medication to help. I take really small doses but it has turned things around for me@LilliRex

Hi, I really wish I could help, but I am in the same boat as you are.
I could say to try the various breathing techniques or sleep remedies you find online, but I feel it would be hypocritical of me since I have difficulties falling asleep even after reading and trying to follow such advice.
I certainly hope we will get more people to join and perhaps get more tips or tricks as it would be really nice to sleep for once :)
Best of luck to us both :D
I can't sleep well for months. My insomnia was so bad over the years, that it had a terrible influence on my health. I visited a lot of doctors and tried different methods to cure it but nothing helped. I've been taking vitamins from a Canadian pharmacy, they help me sometimes to sleep a while.
I've dealt with insomnia ever since I was first diagnosed with Depression, that's like more than 2 decades ago. Before, I had to take medication to help with my sleep, but being medication-free for the past 7-8 years now, the insomnia has resulted in giving me an average 5-6hrs of sleep per night.
Try and do some research on Grounding Pads. Clint Ober is the founder of Grounding/Earthing. He has some videos on YouTube describing its health benefits. My mum tried it for when she slept, and she said she felt sleepy almost instantly. Unfortunately for her, she didn't like the smell of rubber, so we returned the product after a few days. But of the days she tried it, it seems to have helped with her sleep. As she's been having trouble sleeping because of getting hot flashes from menopause.
My insomnia gets worse when there's something I'm worried about, but the only lucky side effect for me, is that even with the lack of sleep, I don't feel tired for most of the day. Maybe until after 6pm, then it starts to hit me and I'll be yawning a lot. I remember back in the day though, in a week's time (7 days), I'd only have had less than 10 hours of sleep altogether. But with the depression + insomnia, I wasn't tired during school, instead, I was quite energized, almost like functioning on adrenaline.
You can also try drinking some organic chamomile tea, at least an hour before bed. My mum does that now, although, some brands work better than others.

You can also do relaxation to forget your problems for one night. Asking for help will help you to feel better. You deserve to be listened to without judgment.
