Acceptance & Understanding

For 15 years my parents have pretended that my autism exists. They can't understand that I have limitations and pretend like my autism doesn't exist, I never got bullied or got assaulted once and had to press charges. Which are the biggest mistakes that any parent can make. I feel alone and feel like no one will ever be able to understand me and instead I hear "it's all in your head" or "if you tried to be normal" or "why can't you be like him" from them and other people I cry on my bed and I feel like I have no one talk to and I'll never be able to get them to accept my autism.

@Delly21
Hello Delly
I understand how you feel.
Well, don't you think if you are in total acceptance of your condition then your parent will too come around by and by.
Moreover at 15 am sure you are capable to steer your life in the right direction.
Be there for yourself.
