✿ I found this on Instagram while scrolling through my feed. I thought it's about time I give something like this a shot.
I found 7 cups when it was recommended to me be a friend (whom I am also unfortunately having issues with 
) awhile ago and have decided to become a member when my best friend (not the one who refered me to 7 cups) was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I reahced out to the friend who had recommended 7 cups to let him know that my best friend had been handed this diagnosis and he could not find the time or compassion to even text me a few condolences - then said I was at fault for nearly ruining this friendship with him for not being patient enough in waiting to hear back from him!
What kind of a "friend" does that? Anyhow ... this situation has caused me to become rather depressed, where I lose my apetite and don't really feel like doing much of anything. I still have to go to work tomorrow, which I'm not really looking forward to but I will still do it and do my best at work. It just really stinks to have a best friend diagnosed with what is basically a death sentence and then have another so-called friend withhold emotional support and then say it's my fault.
Sorry about the rant. I am hoping to move on from probably having to end my friendship with this guy in order to be there for my best friend and also overcome social anxiety, which makes it diffficult for me to find and keep good friends
@AbbyHarris1976 Hey, sorry to hear about your friend having to deal with cancer. It sucks to know someone who is suffering from it. I know; I lost a lot of family to it. As for Mr. Apathy, he can go suck an egg. You don't need his "friendship".

Thank you, its been a back-and-forth battle for her with cancer cuz she has to have chemo and the cancer keeps trying to fight back against it. She cant have radiation because the cancer had spread too much for that.

I didn't hear about from anyone. Like always I had to find help myself. I literally just typed "I need to talk to someone" on google and it brought me to 7cups. I entered and found some really great help. I'm pretty sure this website saved my life. The people here are so helpful and kind. Thank you 7cups!
I love to google things on various topics of mental health to learn about these things and how they fit into my life. On one day I had decided to research self harm and ended up coming upon this site. It
sometimes i browse through pinterest about mental health subjects and found a post listing some online resources. 7cups was one of them and i decided to give it a try.
A friend told me about it
I was browsing the internet looking for a chat room or a forum to maybe vent a bit, found 7 cups from there. Don't use it as much as I should. Always had a problem with asking for or accepting help. Guess I'm trying to force myaelf to open up more.
I think on Google while searching about who to talk to. I downloaded it from Google play.
I googled "Therapy online". And i find out this wonderful website, wich gave me hope to keep going.
