I was on Tumblr and having a rough day. I wanted to scroll through posts that kinda resonated with how I was feeling. I searched something on Tumblr; I think it was just 'depression'. A PSA popped up asking if I was okay and if I was experiencing any type of crisis that I could consider talking anonymously with a listener on 7cups.
And that's how I found this nifty little place.
I saw someone post a link to 7cups on Discord a couple of months ago. Someone else responded and said it was helpful, so I kept that in mind. I decided to join today because I wanted to talk to someone anonymously about my mental problems, and I wasn't feeling great.
I bought a new tarot deck and was feeling depressed one day. I wanted to ask the cards about my depression and feeling better etc. But I didnt know how to ask my question. The 7 of cups fell out. Later, I looked up apps that could keep me occupied through my depression that day. Out of curiosity I typed in 7 cups and here I am.
I was surfing the internet looking for an anxiety support group.
I found this somewhere in my Facebook feed. So I pretty much ended up going here when I felt I needed to talk to someone. It feels great depends on what kind of listener who's going to take care of you.
I found this when I was looking for anxiety support forums. It took me over half a year later to decide to join.
