I heard about it from a friend, then I forgot the name. Later, I saw it on a self care Instagram post. Just got it and love it!

Browsing imgur on random mode. Post from 3 years ago shoed up and that is how I found out about this site
I was looking for online support rather than always crying on friends shoulders. My husband had been chronically depressed and making suicide attempts for a few year then he suddenly walked out. I was exhausted and grieving, 7 cups really helped

I was in such a bad place that I didn't know what to do or indeed if I could continue with life. 7 Cups of tea was just a random site I found. Maybe fate took me there, i don't know. One things for sure I'm forever grateful to the talented listeners on here who gave me the courage and determination to carry on when I wasn't sure I could.

Thats awesome! I was in a similar place and Im so happy to see others on the path to recovery moving onto to peaceful and happy days. Life is precious and despite all the nonsense and horrors that Ive experienced, 7 Cups have reminded me of this fact.

I was just looking for someone to talk with. So i searched for anonymous chat depression and anxiety. I never followed through with chatting with a listener, but have found good relationships here in the forums which has helped me considerably to deal with day to day stuff as well as learning about things.
one day at school i went to liabrary ( i love to read book) because i wasnt feeling the mood to communicate with anyobe including my friends they just didnt know how i felt and anything i was sad they would tell you that am making everyone one esle sad but i felt like i wanted to express how i felt to anyone who would listen so i went on the internet i typed in someone to talk to and eventually i found this site and am greatful for it
Six months ago my emotional bottom and Had to step out of literally everything. I had 5 part time Jobs and ministries working over 70 hours each week. 33 years marriage to an addict has crippled me relationally in every area of my life and Ive been clinically depressed for over five years. Stumbled upon 7C in February 2018 but only recently have had the courage to actually fully connect with this amazing community. Learning the value of being validated, inspired, and encouraged by others who expressed sincere understanding and empathy sans judgment. 7C is proving to be a lifeline back to sanity.
This was a long time ago... I was searching for someone to talk to about what was going on at the time with my feelings of depression and loneliness. I came across the site and found the depression chatroom, and that was basically the beginning of it all.
