@Laura at night, when it is just me and my thoughts, when my mind refuses to calm down.
@straightforwardRaspberries7987 some nights are hard for me too
@sympatheticStrings931. It feels scary sometimes. The way I have started to deal with it is to say to myself a:) we can handle this in the morning, b) live in the moment, one day at a time, c) confront and tackle that obnoxious voice in my head, head-on :), At night, my journal has become the handiest tool to just dump all the fears, etc and at least see on paper what is going on. How do work through it?
@straightforwardRaspberries7987 I used to keep a journal but these days that has lapsed. Im constantly reminding myself to take it one day at a time and even one moment at a time. Im going through a brake up and thoughts about her usually come up and send me to tears every once in a while. But Im learning to take it one day at a time.
@sympatheticStrings931 Oh, I am so sorry. The pain is real especially when you are in the thick of it. Of course you are on the emotional rollercoaster. I got great advice from my sister during a break up and she said it will hurt until it stops hurting, just make sure it doesn't stop your from living. No one can tell you how to feel or how long it will take to heal --- unless you think you guys can reconcile, resolve issues -- but the living day to day is probably the best way to go. I also made sure, during the worst of my break-up that I too a pause, a moment to reflect on my healing progress ; oh, i didn't cry today, oh, I laughed really hard, I went out and my mind was carefree, even though the pain is still there and pops up at the worst moments, acknowledging your progress is HUUUUUGE :)) I lived through 9/11 and I never thought I would feel normal again, ever, ever. I saw the plane crash into the second tower, I was walking into work and happened to look up, plane, explosion and then all hell broke loose. It took a while to realize life goes on and happiness exists, and will be born anew, in time and with healing, even amidst the worst horrors. If you make sure you are getting out of bed everyday and putting one foot after the other, you are ahead of the game. Life is good, it just is hard and unfair, but there is so much good to have. You got this. :))
@Laura when you depressed
When I can't hear anyone eventhough everyone is screaming
I have nobody to talk to, especially when the people i use to tak to got bored of me
People don't listen to me and I feel like I don't have anyone who would understand me
When I'm at a public place or in a social group.
I feel most lonely when I get overwhelmed by everything around me and I either can't stop what I'm doing, or can't make myself a burden because everyone else is doing better than me.
I feel the most lonely when everybody is talking and laughing with their friends but I'm by myself, or when I'm upset or afraid, and I feel that there is no one who will talk to me or comfort me.
@neatBalloon7178 I've been there
