What Kind Of Laugher Are You?

Hi!

We're still in week of the International Moment Of Laughter Celebration!

Laughter is a language, and everyone speaks it differently. Some people like to laugh with their eyes closed, some people like to laugh so much tears come out from their eyes, and some prefer a giggle.

Today, I'm asking what kind of laugher are you?

This is an interesting question.

I don't remember the last time I laughed out loud. Life's been pretty hard the past couple of years (Damn covid).

To answer your question, I'm a silent laugher!

The more I laugh the less sounds come out of me. This has actually got me out of trouble too, especially when I was in school and laugh in the middle of a lecture, no one hears my sound lol.

But it's a beautiful feeling right?

Sometimes I used to laugh until I feel like it's impossible to laugh anymore. You know the "can't breathe, tears start flowing, stomach aches and desperately banging your hands on a table" kinda laughter! Yea I do all that now too, except that I'm crying instead of laughing. Somehow I'm a silent cryer too.

@MyNameIsNicole Hi, Nicole!

Late to the party? Punctuality has never been my forte, anyway. I’m not English, tbw, so… 😄😁

I’m an ouvert laughter and, when not laughing, I smile often, even to strangers (the safer looking ones 😅).

I’m the type of person that can genuinely laugh at myself, it’s very cathartic. I make fun of my own daily situations and it’s awesome.

With time, I think laughter is a good strategy to banalize some issues that, otherwise, would bring you pain. I just laugh at them (people in your past that had hurt you), tell stories, develop further ridiculous scenarios with them in those. Life’s a bit ridiculous: comical when not tragic 😅 It’s cathartically satisfying. Anyway, this won’t work for every situation, ofc, most unfortunately.

When I engage in laughter I laugh really hard to the point of screaming and shredding some tears. I think I sound like a motorcycle (a noisy one) starting its engine and downhill, no brakes and a tremendous loudness. I don’t care, I think it’s kinda cute.

People, especially neighbors, must think I had too much to drink or something (sometimes, I do have a sip or two, but rarely), or that I’m insane hahaha...

As we say here, in my country, “sadnesses won’t pay your debts” (if it would, I’d be loaded and in a comfortable situation for life lol). So, let’s be optimistic every time possible and look towards the bright side of life!

Cheers 🍻 to you, and anyone reading this! ♥️✨

I love this question. It depends what I'm laughing at truly but usually I am the one to end up laughing in tears. Hope you're having a good day/night💗

@MyNameIsNicole

I have a loud giggly laugh, some people find it funny when they hear it.
