Body image issues
Im not sure where to out this but it causes me depression so i figured here could be a good place for it. Ive struggled since I was 11 with my body. Mostly how I see it vs how others see it. Now so many people say "who cares what others think?" Its not what they think but what they say. I have never been hit on by a complete stranger, the first and only time i was asked out on a date by a guy who was helping in in a store was 2 years ago. Point is I dont get a lot of attention. And it seems like when I do its all the wrong attention. Woman compliment me more than men do. I dont know its weird men always have this backwards way of complimenting me. Theres this guy ive known for 13 years now, its a long story but recently we started hanging out again and he will compliment me and then like a few minutes later make me feel bad about myself. For example he will say "Im fine walking back here the view is awesome". Then 10 minites later call my butt small out of no where. Its little things like that have built up over the past few months and it really started to get to me. At one point he insisted thst I was jealous of the girls he was dating. Im not dating him, im not having sex with him, we are just friends why would I be jealous? Didnt matter what I said he would debase it with his delusions. Yes I have thought "its him, its not me. Its his own self issues and hes projecting or whatever" but it still gets to me. So finally today I told him and he made it about him.

I am sorry to hear that this friendship is causing to feel depressed right now! If you ever want to talk, just message me and we can find a time. I hope things get better soon, hon! <3
I know how you feel. The same things have always happened to me. It's always that my friends are prettier and I get ignored in the group, or backhanded comments from strangers. All I can say is that it truly doesn't matter what anyone says about you. I know thats hard, but if you focus on what others say you will continously just bring yourself down over it. If you ever need to talk feel free to message me!!
@Julietlovesu415 I am so sorry you have been experiencing this kind of behaviour from people who dont appreciate you for your inner beauty and not just your outer.
