Dealing with bad depression
I decided to post this because I think I need help. Well, first of all, I have depression, and I think it's bad. The reason I think it's bad is because, I'm starting to get more and more depressed. I'm loosing motivation in doing things, and I feel worthless. I usually go through these moments, were I cry so much, I feel like I'm literally loosing my mind. I just start hitting myself and crying until I'm fine, but then I start doing it again. I only do this at night when I'm alone in bed though... I am struggling with math, and it makes me so mad and upset with myself. I feel so lonely, and nobody cares. It's just so hard toexplain how I feel. I apologize, but I have to stop typing, it's getting more and more difficult for me to type... I don't know why.....
I'm glad you came here for some help, but perhaps it is time to see a professional? There are lots of places you can get help; a school therapist perhaps? And of course there is always the doctors.
The first thing to do when you feel like hitting yourself and crying, is to breathe. Deep breaths in and out can do the world of good. Never take out your emotions on yourself physically; you're worth more than that. Always take time to be good to yourself, relax, have a cup of tea, watch you favourite TV programme. Whatever you do, put yourself first. I hope this helped; stay strong.
@BattyBat, I know exactly how you feel about being depressed and crying. I have been getting better lately and for now the crying has pretty much stopped. Can you study with someone at school who understands math better, like another student or a tutor maybe? I think nattashleigh gave you some good ideas. One of them was breathing. I do a lot of cardio, especially running. Running really gets you breathing more and heavier and the endorphins kick in and make you feel better. I hope you find something that works and gets you feeling better.
I just wanted to let you know that I care.
Hi sweetheart, I care. We all have troubles with something, I struggle with math as well. It can be very hard and challenging sometime but just ask for help, ask your parents or guardians someone close to you! It will be okay ♡
