Dear June,

I got the medication! Unfortunately it makes my mornings hell. You know how I really hate eating in the morning? Well, the medication is supposed to be taken in the morning, and with food. Yeah, you already know where this is going. So I eat very little before taking the pill and uh, my body doesnt necissarily like that. For an hour or so, I feel like I'm gonna throw up. And you know how some people bounce their leg up and down when theyre bored? I can't stop doing that. I also shake uncontrollably. Not a lot, but enough to be uncomfortable. But after that hellish hour, I'm ok for the rest of the day. Yep, the medication works, isn't that great? I may ask for a medication without side effects like that, but if I can't get anything else I'll just live with it. After all, its the only way that I'll feel ok. Bit sad, isn't it June? That to not feel a constant discomfort in my chest, to be able to get out of bed, to be able to consume more than 1 smoothie because I have an apetite again, I need medicine. It makes me jealous I guess. Of the people who don't need a substance to be ok, of the people that feel happiness in their lives, of people who don't constantly hide their face behind a mask. I just want to be happy again. Is that too much to ask? Am I asking too much from the world? Am I selfish? I don't know. Well anyway, thanks for reading this June, it means a lot that I have someone to talk to about this stuff.

Hi @Karma115

I had a similar reaction to meds I used to take as a teenager. Have you spoken to your doctor about this? There could be something that they can do about it. I hope you're keeping well 😊
