Does anyone else experience daytime tiredness while on anti-depressants? How do you combat it?

Hey! When I was on antidepressants, I often was very drowsy and tired in the day so I started taking my medication at night instead (with doctor's advice) and that solved it for me. 😊

@SilentSerenityy I just started them a couple days, so I am going to see how I feel and if I am still tired in a week I will see what she says.

@Mellietronx I've known people who experienced this. If you've only just started taking them, give it at least 2 weeks-month (depending on the specific antidepressant). Otherwise, you might have to take a different antidepressant. Best bet is to wait and then if the problem still persists, tell your doctor/psychiatrist that you're having these troubles and want to try a different antidepressant. Some of them naturally make you more tired or more hyper. It's about finding what'll work best for you, and sometimes takes a few tries. Best of luck!
