Does anyone else have pain?

Hi guys,

I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depression about 6 months ago. For years I've dealt with chronic migraines and headaches, joint pain, muschle aches, and extreme fatigue, sometimes where I'm so tired I have to cancel plans because I just want to go to bed. I also have a lot of trouble sleeping because I'm in pain and I just overall move around so much in my sleep that it wakes me up.

I thought I might have an autoimmune disorder, so I went to a doctor for bloodwork. Everything came back pretty normal except for some indicators of inflamation in the body, but my doctor thinks most of my pain is caused by depression.

I was curious if anyone else experienced this? I'd never heard of physical pain being a depression symptom. I also feel terrible becasue all of my fatigue and pain is apparently all in my head. I've tried a few different medications and nothing seems to help, so I'm feeling super discouraged and low. Please share your experience so I don't feel so crazy and alone.

Thanks guys,

Sunny

@Sunny1721

I've experienced this! When I'm in a bad depressive or anxious episode, I always get horrible stomach aches and/or headaches/migraines. I've heard things about the Vagus nerve doing something, but I'm not totally sure, it might be worth looking into. Hope this helps you feel less alone!
