Early 20s

I’m a teacher living in New York City. I’m also in my early 20s. I have a lot going for me. Not to sound annoying, but I love my job and friends and boyfriend, which makes me feel so guilty for feeling the way I do. I have this horrible pit in my stomach all the time. I always feel like people hate me. I feel like I’m not good enough or deserving enough of what I have. I am constantly questioning and thinking about how people probably hate being around me. I was hospitalized last year around this time because I was so anxious and depressed that I wasn’t eating or sleeping. I was just looking for someone out there who understands and who I can talk to.

It's great that you love your job and loved ones! Given that is the case, I can understand why you would feel guilty for having negative emotions. But, negative emotions are inclusive to everyone. You're feelings are just as valid as any one else's. But, I do hear where you are coming from. Why do you think you have those kind of thoughts of people hating you? Sending hugs💜
