Hello everyone! I hope you've had a lovely Wednesday!

Today's topic will be Foods for Depression, and basically what that is, is foods or drinks that make you relax.

We all chocolate is one thing to eat when feeling bad, because it releases some endorphins. I'd like for you to name at least one thing that calms you down or makes you feel a bit better.

I'll start us off. My calming food are mashed potatoes. My calming drink would have to be chocolate milk!

I drink something called "Calm" before bed. All natural 👍🏽

During the day, my calming drink is violet tea, normal when it's cold, infused in fresh lemonade when it's hot. After 7pm, it's valerian roots infusion with bit of sugar. It's really helpful.

My calming food is chouquettes.

@BlueButterfly4 I like to eat pasta or rice, but I've started to change to whole wheat because it's better for you. When I depressed I want to eat a bunch of junk and that's not really helping. So little steps towards eating healthier. I like cold chai tea to drink. :)

Hi Ocean! I'm the same way when it comes to craving junks foods when I'm depressed. No, it's not healthy, but I think it's okay to eat some chocolate or icecream every now and then. I've seen the Chai Tea at a coffee shop, and have always wondered what it tasted like :P. Think I should try it when I feel down?

@BlueButterfly4

Most important things are enough iron without being too much and vitamin D3 because without iron you'll be too weak and without D3 there won't be enough serotonin in your brain to start with.
