God's path? Christian needs help

Life is full of paths and choices and I may have missed a big one. While not new to Christianity I am still young in my persuit to follow Christ and am in a terrible state depression with where life is now leading. I'm simply going to give an example for now to forgo irrevelent assumptions and conclusions and focus on God's will. I had a major decision to make a few years ago and I viewed it as two paths; one being easy street and the other the hard road. By easy street I mean easy. A cart waiting to carry me, smooth lanes paved in gold, sunshine and rainbows. I could see far down easy street, but it lacked the initial presence of God. The hard road was twists and turns, potholes and bumps, the path mostly hidden from view, but the presence of God helped me to acknowledge that with Him all things are possible. So down the hard road I went. Fast forward to today where I stand shaking, looking forward and back and seeing sin in both directions. If I walked this path in faith and turn back then I'm showing a lack of trust in God but its becoming increasingly difficult to be positive and its just wearing me out. If I did choose the wrong path the only way out is hurtful to others. Please help. I will go into details later but I am interested to hear any opinions on following God's path first. Thank you all

There was a man who sees four foot prints where ever he goes he ask god who's that other two footprints he was seeing every where he goes and god said two him i am with you every where you go those other two footprints are mine.
one day that man was in difficult phase of his life and now he was seeing only two footprints,he was confused that how can god left me in this situation and asked god why you leave me alone in my difficult time
god answered to him that those two footprints are mine i lifted you up in my arms.

Don't worry about your path god will always with you have faith

Praying, and submitting to His will is always a good start in situations like this. Do you regularly attend a church? If so, try contacting someone there to set up a meeting. Often times, Godly people can counsel you on situations like this, and they can help you navigate these storms.

Praying for you!! :)

Prayer is important to the listening to God's will. Prayer is talking with God but it is also important we listen to God. God can be hard to hear with our busy lives and it's difficult sometimes to know when something is really of God or of the devil. Here's how you know if it's him. If is goes hand and hand with the word then it is really God's will but if it doesn't then it could be the devil speaking lies to you. Take a look at Chapter 4 of Matthew. The devil tried using scripture to get Jesus to turn away from God but how Jesus countered him was with God's word.

I hope this helped. I will pray for you.smiley
