Going to physical therapy appears to be working

Hey everyone,

I’ve been doing physical therapy for a little while now.

It’s been tough but I’m doing the exercises and going back for

another appointment next week.

I have no clue how much longer I’ll be going since we’re just working on improving my balance so I won’t have to rely as much on my cane. My neurologist sent me with the specific goal of getting me to not need it, but I’ve discussed with the physical therapist that while I’d like to not freak out or get scared when I misplace my cane or something I’d still like to use it for long trips, unfamiliar locations, or when I have to stand forever.

I’m trying not to overthink this.

Glad to hear that it appears to be working!!

It’s great that you’ve been sticking to it despite the challenges.

I can't tell you how thrilled your news makes me. Getting up and being active can change everything. Whether you need the cane or not after this matters less than just moving.

Go you! You are doing it. @integrityblues
