How will I make it through?
Well, I'm new here... I have a few things in life that make me feel like I'm drowning. It's really hard for me to get out of bed every morning and I do the bare minimum (like school work, hardly cleaning my apartment, not eating much, etc.)... I'm dealing with a difficult break up. I'm hurt because I lost the guy I was dating but also I lost a potential mate. I'm 31 and I worry I'll never find a husband or have children, both of which I want desperately...
Also... This is hard for me to write because I haven't told anyone, but I just found out my mom has cancer...I cannot bring myself to type more about this...
I'm crying all the time and I have to work overtime to pretend like everything is ok when I'm at school (I'm a law student which adds another layer of stress)... I feel lost, scared and alone... I don't really know what to do...
I'm sorry for the break up and especially with your mother having cancer. No wonder you feel like your drowning you have lots of stress on your mind. Your going to get through this "tough times don't last long but tough people do." I would lower your stress levels by talking to people about your problems through 7cups or person to person. It's never good to bottle things up and let them fester. When sleeping I would listen to sleeping hypnotize videos on YouTube. When your sleeping your mind is still working/thinking so the hypnosis helps it calm down for a well deserved rest. I would also eat more(since you said you barely eat) your brain/body needs the nutritionist to be healthy. Hope this helps!

@Naturie
Firstly, welcome to 7 Cups, it's great to have you here! I want to let you know you that you are never alone. It sounds like you are going through a lot. I am proud of you for still going to school despite all that is going on. For the breakup, I am sorry to hear about that. I am sure someone else will come and you'll find your mate, one day at a time though. Don't worry about the future <3 Having a family member get diagnoised with cancer is super hard, I understand <3 I am wishing her all the best and I hope she will end up being okay. You are very strong to get through this all, just have to go a little bit further. You mentioned you're crying all the time and that is perfectly okay <3 If you need to cry, cry. Crying sometimes can help. It sounds like you are working overtime as a distraction and a mask to hide everything which is understanble but you don't have to hide how you feel. Everyone goes through hardships at some point and they will understand. I wish you the best of luck to feeling better *hugs*
