I can't live on my own

I just don't care about life, nothing is important to me and the only reason why I'm still here is because my girlfriend gives me the purpose to create a life with her, but when it comes to me, I can't find happiness on my own, I'm scared to be alone because I feel empty, I don't care about school, my family doesn't seem to understand how I feel and my friends are starting to disappear, I think that I died a long time ago, but I didn't know yet.

Hi, I know how you feel :(. I can’t find anything that makes me happy. I lacked passion and I didn’t have much friends who I could rely on. My ex girlfriend was the only thing I had going for me and I ended up relying too much on her. Despite all that, after crying, being in denial, and having no motivation; I came to realization that I can either stay this way hurting or learn from the past and improve myself. Things aren’t set and stone. Just because our past may have been gloomy with never ending pain and loneliness, there will come a time for us to be happy as well. It all depends on you. We need to fight on and just keep living life. Even if most of time we are unsure on what we are doing, just take it step by step. You’ve already started to reach out which is a huge step in trying to improve yourself. My advice would be to not rely on your girlfriend for your main purpose of living. I used to think the same way. Unfortunately life is unexpected and people change. You’ll never know what will happen, and if you rely so much on her. It’ll affect her greatly, and if she leaves you, it’ll hurt you tremendously to the point of hopelessness. Try to find people who accept you and make you comfortable. Take some time for yourself. Even if it seems like you just don’t have time, just do your best. Do your best in everything you do, and opportunities/happiness will come to you when you least expected. Explore new things, there are bound to be something for us out there. I’m dealing with a great amount of pain and suffering right now too, but let’s just take things slowly. Let’s both start by reaching out to people and sharing our pain. Let’s make great friends and appreciate life because it truly is a wonderful thing just clouded by the thought of never ending obstacles. Good luck friend
