I feel like I'm not worthy of being happy
Nobody's taking my problems seriously. Nobody cares if I'm alright. Nobody cares how hard it actually was for me to try and talk about it. Maybe I don't deserve to be happy at all. Honestly I want to die. I don't have a single person in my life to support me. I have the choice between living a useless unhappy life or die and to be honest I would prefer dead.
@Djeidi I don't like to tell people how to feel, but i do like to be truthful. I completely understand how you feel and I can join you on feeling like you don't deserve happiness. But remember that no one, deserves to suffer, and people like you and me are those people. No one should feel like they deserve death. Also, I care. Way too much.
@Djeidi
You are not alone and this site has helped me out alot
Ive lost count of how many times Ive felt that way, that its my thinking thats doing me wrong and not because of something insensitive or thoughtless that someone said to me. However, those who tell you that nonsense dont understand and either havent been there or dont care.
If youre feeling that kind of way, that no one cares about you, its NOT you and its NOT your fault. Dont ever let those haters say it is, either.
@AbbyHarris1976 I agree, I a lot of times feels afraid of what people think or say about me because I care too much to be a good person to them that I dont take care enough of my own feelings and stand up for myself. I want to change that and when I start the feel confident, something happens that makes me doubt myself over and over again.
Lets try to remember things will be better in the end and if theyre not, its not the end -John legend

Ive been there too many times to count, where I try to stand up to someone doing me wrong and then they tell me Im being too sensitive ... and then they wont talk it out.
Sometimes, I really dont get people in todays world, but I just have to keep moving ...
@AbbyHarris1976
youre not wrong, if anything you
@bluejay988
Thank you. 🙂 In todays times, whats needed are those who keep it real. Ive never been one to pretend that a hurtful remark isnt hurtful or that everything is fine when it is not.
Theres a coffeehouse in Chicago called Sip of Hope where all proceeds go to mental health awareness whose slogan is Its okay to not be okay.
@AbbyHarris197
me neither, I
@bluejay988
Exactly ... and nothing will be taken for granted, which is something that happens too much in todays society.
There was a post on another forum that I replied to, on the latest check-in on the Anxiety board. The member I replied to asked why people lie so much, and I said people lie to get what they want when they want regardless of who they hurt.
That thread is a good read, including those two posts, so Ill tag you to that thread. 🙂
@AbbyHarris1976
Lying is such a hurtful thing, I understand white lies with are little ones to just not hurt someone
@bluejay988
Thank you!
I'm glad I found 7 Cups, also, so I can discuss this stuff and not feel like I'm being too sensitive or that I can't trust the person I'm talking to.
The other kind of lying that goes on is when you confide in someone (for example, at work) and tell them what's going on in your life because you feel like you trust them enough to open up to them ... and then later find out that (1) they're involved in something they led you to believe they're not into or that they thruned on you. In the first instance, I had a friend who seemed interested in developing a true, longlasting friendship but later found out that that's not his thing and we actually have very different views on friendship philosophy.
@Djeidi There's times in our life that we all have experienced feelings of dissatisfaction, disappointed etc, But the way I have overcome this emotions is by stop focusing on myself and focus in others that has been the only way I had found a purpose when all looks blurry, I find so much satisfaction to help or to listen others that I really do not care if they understand me, etc. Try it.
@tallOwl252
In my experience, those who are not full of themselves when you reach out to them as a friend will likely stay your friend for a very long time
@Djeidi
first off I'm sorry to hear that. Also, you are not alone, you are never alone. Stay strong you can pull through this. I know it's hard some days but it will get better.
Much love.
@modestShade3042
Exactly what I try to think when slogging through a difficult work week, also. Sooner or later, we WILL get through it! 👍

We all care here. Most of us (including me) have been where you are and understand, so please don't feel alone in this. You are worthy of living and being loved. I believe you can get through this.
I understand and totally get it. I believe this is effecting you a lot cuz maybe you had no one to be there or understand you. How your feeling now is normal and fair .
We all been there and still are there. We want you to know your not on your own here .I know it's easy to say but things become easier more when you realise what life can be.
We're here if you ever need to talk.
