I feel most lonely when I remember that I was the one who pushed people away to protect myself. It's something I can't make better with one person, because they passed away three years ago.
I feel most lonely when I am surrounded by people non of whom I can share what I am going through nor what I am feeling or thinking. It is so lonely when I am the only one in the room who empathises with himself while other people stare at me with those estranged eyes wondering why am I not as happy as they are.
Right now.
I know the person I love will never come back...
It sounds weird, but theres this one class I have where everyone is friends and really social, and the teacher is really laid back and also a therapist so all these people are coming in and saying their problems and he actually talks about it and helps them, and they feel comfortable sharing since its their friends in the room. I guess it just makes me feel like Im falling between the cracks and forgotten because Im not friends so I never talk, and no one ever asks how Im doing
My girlfriend hangs up the phone after a great conversation
--my depression flares up at night & there's no one to talk to because my entire family is asleep but that's fine because they don't understand what i'm going through anyway. I feel most lonely at night when i'm bawling my eyes out, drowning in my pain
--i see a group of friends out having fun & I start wishing it was me that had a supportive group of friends to talk to about anything and everything, but especially heavy stuff that weighs on me. I just wish i had someone
--i watch tv and there's a character who has struggled with depression or self-harm (cutting) and i see the pain in their eyes. It makes me able to see myself through their eyes and i'm able to relate to their struggles. makes me feel some type of way because while their issues are solved at the end of 30 minutes or so, i can't help but remember how alone i was dealing with my shit.
When i know i am about to fail (like right now)
I feel the most lonely when I see people having fun, when I see kids playing or people talking, when I see the happiness I never had.

What stops you from having that fun now?
I have no one on one contact with my friends or family , not seeing a familiar face in days, being isolated....
When I feel helpless in situations and the people around me are also feeling just as lost in their own lives and I feel like we can
