When I was 6 or so , I watched a movie where a girl killed her self cause she said she didn’t want to live past her twenties and somehow back then it resonated with me and I thought to myself, honestly what really is the point of staying here.

and when I got in university, it occurred to me that 24 years is actually enough time on earth

and now I feel like it might be too much. I’m exhausted.

I'm so sorry you feel this way. Honestly life doesn't make sense. It feels like meaningless. But the thing is we don't know for sure. We didn't choose to exist. Everything happened somehow. So we've to just go on with this ride. There are lots and lots of stuffs you didn't yet explored. And the people we love to share this journey with, Think about them. There is only a limited amount of time we could spend with them. So why just ruin everything? Just let everything happen. Love, Explore, Learn, Accept, Embrace and Face the absurdity.

@Icomeherewhenthingsgettough,

I can understand your point . However , I don’t think that the word ‘enough’ and ‘life’ go well together. One can either do lots of things in life or he/she can sit idle and do nothing . It’s completely based on perspective of that person , which needs to be respected. It is very true that life seems meaningless and hopeless and that is one of the main reasons for these kind of thoughts . Take some time to think over it . Two years is good time to decide .

@Icomeherewhenthingsgettough what you're going through must be so hard. It's okay to be exhausted, to feel like it's too much, that's a lot to take in. University can be a big step in life for many.
