I have nothing left to go on for

I guess I'll start with I'm 32M, I was working a dead end job, not a career, job. I hated my job but they paid me just enough not to quit. I had a gf that i thought loved me, and had loved me for over 10 years.... but she just walked out one day 5 months ago. And i haven't heard from her since, shes with someone else and I think that new relationship started almost from the point she walked out. I'm stuck at home now with my parents because I have no money saved up, I quit my job because I thought I'd finally start my business that I put off for over 3 years and try and win my gf back.... but everything I do just turns to failure around me. I have a little saving that I'm using for the business but its dwindling away because all i can think about is my ex and how she must be so much more happy without me and that I'll never see her again, and i cant get the last 10 years out of my head. But somehow she just forgot about me in an instant. everyone I know say to just move on, but I don't know how. How do you just forget everything. And when I try and push forward with other things it's just failure after failure. The only thing I was doing right was getting my health better, I went from 235lb and am currently 164lb. But what's the point if I never find anyone again, if I cant trust after this then I cant go one living the life I'm living right now. I feel like I'm in hell. How do ppl cope with just forgetting someone to me that saying there is no such thing as love

@Greekjoker im sorry your feeling so bad. I know its not easy to forget. But you can find a way forward dont give up. And well done on your weight loss thats a great achievement. And who knows who you will meet in the future? Youve been hurt and your trust in people is shattered right now. I understand. But you wont always feel as bad as you do now.

Hi @Greekjoker. Sorry to hear you're suffering and it's never easy to move on from a relationship you've invested in. Moving on takes time and nobody fast-forward to a point when it doesn't hurt or occupy your thoughts. How your partner was able to move on so quickly, I don't know. What matters is that you're patient with yourself and in time, you'll find a day went by when you weren't thinking about your ex. Then maybe a week and so on.

I think it's great that you've been successful at improving your health - that's not trivial, it's hard to do and you deserve some praise for that. Getting a new business running is a very difficult undertaking so I hope you won't judge yourself too harshly based upon the outcome so far.
