Is love hopeless? Please help me out...

I was in a two year long relationship at 16 where I was 100% sure I found my soulmate and the person I was going to marry. I never ever at any point thought we would split up, but we did. And were not even friends anymore. After that, I was extremely heartbroken and unstable. Out of nowhere, this guy that I was friends with in class admits he has a crush on me. I was extremely hesitant, still heartbroken, and took a couple months to open up, but it was really good! Then one day, he just sort of ghosted me and it ended cold turkey. I was left heartbroken again. It was super tough, but I got through it. Then I decided to go on dating apps to hopefully find someone to talk to or potentially be with for the summer. After a month, I found someone I really liked. We started going on dates and I really liked him! It got pretty serious. We had a few moments where we had problems, but we came back to each other still. The summer came to an end and I was leaving so we decided to end things. If we came back to each other, then we would.

Now Im just left here very confused. I feel so hopeless and weary of my love life. I dont know what to expect for the future. I dont know what to think of the past. I feel like Ill never find the one. And that Ill keep getting in these disposable relationships. I dont know if I should give up, take a break for a while, or keep trying. I dont know if I should be looking for love or just let it come to me.
