I am sorry to hear what you guys have been going through. There is hope and there is treatment available. When the thoughts of suicide become overwhelming please contact a suicide helpline in your country.
Until thenone of the best ways of managing such thoughts is continual distraction, in other words don't think distract.

All the best for you.
It seems so easy to slip into this sort of feeling. When this starts to happen to me, I first try to see if it could be related to physical or environmental causes. If I just need to eat better, or sleep more, then I remind myself that these thoughts will pass, and I try to focus on myself. Why am I feeling this way. Sometimes I still am unable to pull myself out of the cloud. Then , and this is most important, remember that people love you and need you, and reach out for the help you need. People do care, and will help.
