Leaping
I remember when I was a kid watching ReRuns of Quantum Leap. This one man who would put right that once went wrong and then he would move on to another time and place to do it all over again but he has to complete whatever mission he is there to do or else he is stuck there in the time period, person and place that he leaped into. I've been watching it again and I feel different as opposed to how I did when I was younger. I put myself in the shoes of the Leaper. I haven't completely my mission, Im stuck in this leap. I can't ever put right what was wrong. Everytime I try, I endup in the same position I was in before. Alone.

interesting analogy....... only saw the show a couple of times....
but i do understand as a grown up we may feel stuck in a leap ....... not knowing how to resolve to move on.
IMO when i go through these feelings......... i try something out of the normal ........make a big change because those leaps were something that happened in a moment .......if you wait for the leap it will seem forever....................... if you do other things and not always prepared that is when life leaps.
I am not sure that you are in the same position each time. Being alone takes many forms and each time is different. But you also never can be certain that you aren't jumping to a new location where you aren't alone. @mechanix96
