Life of an unlucky child
I am a 2nd year college student. (...) My parents and I lost our job and my father is in not good condition right now. He is getting worst right now. I haven't enrolled right now because we don't have a money to pay for my tuition fee balance and tuition fee. It hurts me so much as I value education so much. "I still want to enroll by this week", my mind and heart keep on shouting that. It hurts me so much when one of I think my friend tells me that "you are an achiever yet you are not enrolled". She said that while laughing. I can't complain, I can't fight for myself because what she said is true. As a result, I tend to isolate myself from people as I am insecure about others being able to attend school. I prefer to stay inside our house. (...) I really don't know what to do. I am finding a job but it is hard since it is pandemic and my balance keeps on increasing due to interest. Don't think that I am lazy because I don't find job like what other people think. I am finding different jobs to save but my savings and income went to my father's medication. I don't have a choice. As long as I want to enroll, we don't have $3,700 that we can just get in the street. I am losing myself. I prefer to be alone now rather than socialize and talk about my problems. Maybe it is because of my insecurity. (...) Please help me about this issue please. Any piece of advice. Thank you. Please help me. Please please

You're not alone in feeling stressed out about work, school and parents, don't give up! Get advice from your college to see what is the best course of action given your situation, talk to people who might be able to help - family, relatives or friends - financially or jobs. It's normal to want to take time off for yourself, but talking about your worries will lower the stress of dealing with things. It can be really stressful managing sick parents, but remember hard times don't always last and you're so much stronger than you believe. Have faith that things will be okay with time.
