Love can be the cure for depression.

Have you even been told that to be in a relationship you have to get healthy then start a relationship. Well sometimes I beleive that love can help you overcome that depression, obviously it would be good if you treat your depression as well. I think being with someone, having a deep connection and someone to help us and to make us feel like there is someone waiting for us it can make us feel less lonely. I know how hard it is for people who are depressed, cause when you are depressed usually people tend to try to get away from you. So this will make you sink more into your depression and get into more despair, and create a viscious cirrcle which will make you even more difficult to find friends and a love person. I know is possible to find a love one when we are depressed. Also there will always be someone willing to be your friend even though you are depressed, I know its hard, but we have to keep trying. Same as people in other planets find love too, we still need to give hope to love to enter our lives, cause when you less expected loves arrive.

have a great day.

Tried it, didn't work, depression won. Well it won over him, at least. But then again I started falling into numbness and apathy a while before that.

This is what I am saying to myself as well. But trying to find a date or get to know someone here sucks. I have gotten to talk to someone on the phone once but they have been ignoring me since our initial conversation. I have not had sex with anyone in 4 years. And quite frankly I am about to give up. Period. I am truly PO'd and frustrated. This is really bringing me down. I can't go out with someone to have a good time. Why? I don't know anyone. Forget online dating. Its a joke. I just want to freakin girlfriend. Thats it.

Well sometimes this can work , sometimes not.

People who are experiencing depression needs support & yes this can be someone they love but some people try to be better for their loved ones & once they face any problems or they end their relationship , they may return back of being depressed or even worse.

I believe that one the most important support is their families (Dad , mum , brothers or sisters ) and yes this includes their loved ones but as long as they feel that their families stand besides them , they will help them in every situation.

Love alone can't cure a vitamin D deficiency but loving your body enough to make sure you're getting enough D3, other energy boosting vitamins and exercise can help a lot.

@Spring90 I think the key is try to be self sufficient, like don`t depend on others to be happy. Just let love be a plus to happiness.

@daddysprincess that can be hard. I hope things turn out ok for you. Why would you want you to go to a therapist?

@daddysprincess

Don't allow pressure from an outside party to influence whom and where you seek therapy. Therapy won't work if you're not comfortable. It also won't work with manipulation from a very possible catalyst for your needing therapy:) Let me know if I can be of service.
