This is a ramble and idk why I’m writing this. When I finally decided to take meds, after therapy became too expensive, it actually only took a few months to get the dosage correct. Not only that, but the medication I started with was actually working, so I never needed to switch. I consider myself very lucky. The only side effects that I have are some irregular bowel movements and unfortunately tiredness. But I’ll take that over being so anxious and depressed I can hardly function. I take one and a half of 100 mg tablets per night. I do wish I didn’t feel so sluggish. I’m so thankful for this medication though. So thankful.

@TheJenInBlack I agree, you were pretty lucky. Many people say they have to switch medications a few times before they find one that works. It's good to know that you've found the right dose, too.

I hope others reading this who are having problems with medication will be encouraged by it to keep going until they get it right Beaming with smiling eyes

In case it's not obvious, other people reading this might not find that the right dose for them is the same as the right dose for you. Dosage differs between medications and between people, and it needs to be worked out in partnership with a doctor. Also, some tablets can be split, but some others must not be split, and again a doctor will know whether splitting tablets is OK.
