My partners depression
Hey I'm new here , I have girlfriend that is currently dealing with depression,she also used to be in this app .
My problem is I don't know what I am supposed to do .
And sometimes I feel she just wants to end our relationship.
Can someone help me please?
Have you tried directly talking to her about this? About how it's making you feel?
I want to, but I think I will stress her more , because I know that it's not her choice

It can be a viscous circle we want to help not sure how and so we give space ..... i used to be depressed acted as if i wanted to be alone but.......... i have a son who even as a child would come in jump on the bed and tell me to get up and we did something....... sometimes i did not want to etc... but he taught me a long time ago when i find myself in that spot to get up do something different......
i have wasted so much time giving mixed signals and spouse just left me alone .......
IF he had shown the same attitude as our son to bring me OUT of my own funk maybe our relationship would have worked. Instead he tells me well i did not want to bother or stress you....so he never even talked to me ...i think more then a few times it would have helped ........... some people just do not know they need a real reminder there are things that can help them get past depression cycles
