New and first post
Hello everyone, hoping you all are well.
I'm on step 10! I have learned lots over the past couple of months with counseling and a recent hospital visit. I learned some pretty awesome things; 1) I will still have times when I feel down, and 2) there is happiness in progression. I cannot emphasize enough how great these realizations have been for me. I believe in a Heavenly Father and I believe hat He has sent me here to progress, to love, and to learn. My heart goes into this writing, hoping you know that you are loved. I love this community 💕

I admire your courage for sharing your struggles and I'm sorry you're enduring this hardship. You're not alone here because we're all a work in progress. Since you're open to thoughts and suggestions I'll share some.
Try to be patient with your self and avoid anything stressful if possible. It's okay to sleep because our bodies heal when we get some much needed rest. On your good days I'd suggest getting outside and staying active. Stretching exercises and relaxation exercises help release the muscle tension caused by stress which leads to depression.
Keeping our mind busy helps us pass time with healthy distractions that take us out of the depression mode for a while. Having a support system we can trust and rely on is very helpful to our recovery. Finally a healthy nutrition is beneficial for our well being.
I hope you feel better and feel free to message me if you need some 1 on 1 support.
Take care!
