Not The Same
I'm sure I might offend some people on here with my reasons for feeling depressed, so I apologize in advance.
Why is it so easy? So easy to just stop feeling so angry, so lost, so sad. Why does everything go away if I want it to? And why do I hate it when it does? Honestly, I have so much control over my life, I feel invincible. But, this isn't a good thing!! I never have to fight for anything! It's so unbearably boring it's stupid! It's like there's nothing I can't do. Like I'm perfect at everything. Everything seems so easy, so obvious. I can't move on. Once you've reached the top, there's nowhere else to go. The only way is down. Like a mountain. Once you've reached the peak, the only thing left is the downward slope. Yet for some reason, I'm an amazing mountain climber. There's nothing to do. It's so boring. No fight, no reason. No goal when I've reached the very top. It doesn't make any sense!
Any help? Any advice? Please, this hurts just as much as anyone else.
You haven't reached the peak yet, you can cure cancer, eliminate starvation and poverty, etc
And while you're at it, can you help fix the environment so my generation doesn't have to kill each other for clean water and food? And maybe use your status to influence people to not be assholes. Kthanx princess
Or, ya know, just use your riches to go to a doc and get some meds for your depression. And of those meds don't work, climb another mountain by developing a more effective cure. Many of us would sure appreciate it.

I don't have any advice, but I did hear you, and I listened to your pain, and it sounded like confusion too. I think you know that your "feelings" about not having any goals left and never being satisfied at an accomplishment - are just emotions- and what you describe is not reality. Feelings are just that- not right or wrong- and they may change. It isn't fair for anyone to judge you or be offended based on emotions that right now are out of your control. Keep seeking help, and it is our job here to extend encouragement. Sometimes that is all we can do.
