That the person I loved for nearly a decade must not even be thinking about me or missing me one bit right now or in the past three weeks since we broke up. That I'm convinced he still loves me, misses me and is just too confused or in a bad state to understand that he still does when the reality could be that he is happier than ever without me and I am just in denial. That I'm still going to speak to him (when the time is right) and try to reconcile knowing full well that I can be rejected all over again and I'm willing to take that risk.

Hi there. I can't believe how identified I feel with your post. I did too, loved someone for nearly a decade, but he's drifted away, so much that I feel I was just someone else in his life, someone so unimportant now and it broke my heart and it wounded me so deeply I haven't been able to forget. The feeling of knowing that the other person is so happy without us being in their lives is just crushing. I wish you all the happiness in the world and hope that when you get to talk to this person, things will work out perfectly (in my case, he never answered to the deep hearted letter I sent). I send you all the strength and patience for the best outcome.

I am older now and feel without worth or purpose. I feel I cannot connect meaningfully to my family or friends. It's like I've lost the knowledge or the tools to do these things any more. I'm not sure I ever really had them. Screens have replaced faces. Not sure why, but this feeling comes and goes but never fully goes away. I've always been driven by my work and when it is not there, I lose my footing. The one thing that has kept me sane is thatI've started to run. When I am running I feel connected and free. When I stop and get back home it all comes crashing back. So now I run more and more. I've always lived in this mental place and managed it over the years without medication - I fear that medication may make some things far worse. Reading through these posts I realize my situation is not so bad. And I am sincerely not complaining. But this is the place to let it out so that's what I am doing here. I wish everyone here peace and love.

@OrdinarySlothLover

Hi there. I can relate to your post...I movedm to a "new" city (almost 3 years ago) and I haven't been able to make friends...I just go to work and come back home ...I have no idea how to make friends and loneliness is a horrible thing to live with... I understand your discomfort...

@selfconfidentTangerine1778 it's okay the people who told you that is sick, in fact s/he shouldn't tell you that at all! you can always talk to me. it's okay buddy don't believe those people, you are worthy and you deserve better

Don't listen to people who would only say mean things to you. Your life doesn't have to do anything with them. Horrible people don't have the right to tell you what to do with your life. Never listen to a person who dares saying such nasty things. They are wrong and not worth it. Keep strong.

I have no one to talk to. I save everyone, but no one tries to save me. I have so many friends, yet none of them know how I really feel. No one really knows how I feel, but no one cares enough to stop and ask.

One thing that I'm sad about right now is that I suspect my boyfriend of 5 and a half years is flirting with other woman again through how he contradicts himself, the way he's been acting and how he has been talking and almost stumbling on what he says

My parents are going through separation. Everything in my life started to fall apart. I suddenly dont know what to do with my life or if I should even keep on living. I tried to be positive but nothing good ever comes from this situation. They say I was lucky this happened when Im old enough to understand but I wish this happened before I could even stress myself out from trying to understand what went wrong with my family. Im 18 and Im scared of what I may become in the future. Im scared of what my future will be. Im just having a lot of fears right now. Im trying my best to hold on to this life and not mind the fears.

Hi there. I'm sorry you're going through a rough time. We all have fears in our lives...no matter how young or old we are, there are always insecurities. Things will get better, don't worry. You will eventually understand your fears and thoughts, you just need to be patience and kind to yourself. Try not to get overwhelmed by your feelings and try to solve your fears one by one. Take as much time as you need to ease your mind. I send you strength and my best wishes.
