Instead of working on my PhD and actually accomplishing my goals, I get caught in mental loops and end up just crying for hours at a time....

@LoveandLight27 I can't make myself apply for a program because I can't think of anything I care enough about to research. I loved being in grad school for my masters. But once I got out and started working in a field that wasn't even in my area, I started to feel like it was all a waste. I'm an overqualified human scanner and most people in my office forget I work here or think i'm a temp (i've been here for 2 years). I hope you finish your degree and get to carve out your own life from your accomplishments. I think i've given up on mine.

My Depression really gets in the way of doing anything serious or productive. I get so caught up in trying to ignore how I'm feeling that I lose the will to do anything with my life, like school, work, friends, etc. Sometimes it gets really bad because I can't pursue the things that would make me feel better.

Being depressed makes the air feel heavy, I constantly feel exhausted.

Utter exhaustion, literally Sleeping my life away. Watching days pass as I mark them off the calendar. Day by day. Week by week. Over and over.

Anxious and unhappy but not sure if it just depression or some really challenging situations and the helplessness I feel when overwhel med.

since i also suffer from ADHD which makes me bored easily..
i usually juggle or shift between works and hobbies so i dont lose focus and keep on going
But my depression makes me feel i would never be good at what im doing
it also makes me feel empty or numb. and i barely receive the happy or enjoy feeling when doing it
Back in the day im always active and productive.. but lately i feel unmotivated doing anything
No matter how much i switch between the work i still feel nothing and numb..
i want to be productive but they keep making me feel like doing nothing..
of course i had to force myself.. and im thankful i still can do so.. but its not as enjoyable as its use to be..
i hope things get better soon :< for me and everyone.. <3
Take care guys!

Depression takes away my ability to see the good in anything, including myself. It clouds my judgement and am indecisive or make bad choices.
