@Laura

Searching. It seems I'm constantly searching or working to improve. Today I feel like I'm searching for motivation to "quit" pulling out my hair. If only I could "quit" like it's a bad habit. But it's a disorder. It's uncontrollable. Today I feel like I'm searching for a cure that doesn't exist. Because there isn't a cure for trichotillomania. You can work towards improving self control and reducing symptoms, but it never goes away. Only 10% to 20% of people who have "recovered" stay "recovered" long term.
