Poem | Depression (Trigger Warning)

So i shared this in the literature section but i wanted to share it here just because some may be able to relate! :P

******************TRIGGER WARNING****************

A girl is trapped

no reason why

this is her story

go on read, don't be shy

A black cloud grows thicker and thicker

The darkness large, the light is hidden.

All alone, im getting sicker

try to eascap- it seems forbidden.

Trapped here and no where to go

i terrified in my own company

starting to think - oh no

this wont end well, you'll see

Remembering all the faults in her life

Every mistake she made

all she wish is that she had a knife

so to rest she could be laid

she felt there was no way out

but there was nothing else she could do

so as she was searching all about

a little light grew

she walked towards the light

hopefull that things would change

6 years of a long hard fight

No more depression, wouldnt that be strange

she reached as far as she could

desperate to be happy you have no idea

She let her self feel hope like you would

but suddenly the light was to dissapear

The light was gone

nothing was left

but a rope to tie around her neck.
