Quick Question?

I've read that people who fail at their suicide attempts realize that their seemingly unfixable problems are totally fixable- so they regret it.

But what if you already know that? And maybe you already fixed all your problems and other people's problems, so you have a good understanding on your emotions already.

Like, there's no actual problems in my life and I'm as fine as I can be.

So what if you already passed all the terrible things in your life and you're in a good spot- You just want to die?

@Clandest1ne

Hi,

First thing first, I'm sorry you feel like that.

Do you know why you feel this ?

I really don't know. It's been bothering me for a while, so I thought I'd ask here.

@Clandest1ne

Maybe you could think about it, try to write down why you feel like that, what came to your mind when you feel like that ?

Sounds like you're in a good spot in your life and you're feeling a bit confused because there's no apparent reason for your suicidal thoughts. I'm really glad you're here to chat and reaching out, you're definitely one step in the right direction!

At the moment I'm thinking there are a few possible reasons for this. Seeing that you're posting your question in the depression forum, you might be aware yourself that this is somehow connected with depression? It will be a totally different story, say for someone with bipolar to post the same question in another forum, however, in your case, I suppose it might still be something that is linked to depression itself. Keep in mind that, there is still a misconception about there needing an obvious reason for depression to happen, but in reality, many of the Major Depressive Disorder patients have no specific nor known triggers in life that leads to their depression, it may be simply a case of the genetics or chemical imbalances inside the brain, either way, the reasonable solution is to consult with a licensed practitoner.

There are also other possible reasons why this is happening, on the top of my head, one of the things is maybe we're afraid of loosing what we have, or rather, we're afraid of change or life going downhill, and we want to "preserve the moment", so to speak, as if we can end of lives during our good times so we won't have fo face any sufferings nor pains that might be propable in the future. This might also be reason for us wanting to end things without any apparent reasons. Keep in mind thou, if this is in fact the case, it is still a form of running away from our problems without actively seeking a reasonable solution.

I'm not sure which one applies to your situation, or it can be another reason completely, but I hope you'll be able to figure out this soon!
