I wish to be in the spring such perfect beautifull weather for being in a garden. The flowers, sounds of birds singing from the tops of trees with newly blossomed flowers, the small ducklings paddling away in small streams. This would be wonderful my struggles would feel much lighter and my pains less hurtful. I would spend my time enjoying the sun and green grass instead of hiding away in a dark cold corner in tears. I feel so alone and there's an ache inside that grows stronger each day. Others say it will pass or tell me to just be happy and to stop being negative. Wouldn't I do that if I could or knew how? Because of this I feel like I can't talk to anyone. I know everyone struggles and that I'm not the only one but how can they get past it? I don't know. When ever small issues come by I tend to over think it over and over and it seems pointless. The world is so crazy at times.
Hey beautiful duck, I feel the same way you do. I have gone through countless antidepressants and psychotherapy, but I don't seem to get any better. I love the way you described spring. I hope we both can feel the love of spring cursing through our vains. I say you write more about spring since it does make you happier.
Hi @Theuglyduck
I looked closely at your photo, and the duckling is lovely!
You've made a powerful, important and painfully honest point here. Telling people the ache inside will pass, or just to be happy and stop being negative, this is such terrible advice and yet so common. I'm sorry it makes you feel you can't talk to anyone. I hope there are many listeners here who understand that listening is not about giving foolish advice, and I hope you will find someone to talk to here who will understand you and understand your struggles and pain.
I wish for you springtime and not to feel so alone. If you ever feel that talking to someone for a little while might be possible, you are welcome to send me a message.
I think people tell you that "it will pass" because you have to actually believe that "it will pass" for it to pass. It should be empowering, but I do understand what you mean because the time for each person to heal varies greatly. But I hope you can see the better side of the world and heal quickly.
