Sad and lonely

Hey. Eight months ago I moved to Sweden because of my studies and thought my life would change positively. I was very happy of the fact that I would live in a new country and especially meet new people. Back in my homecountry (Latin American) I was desperate. I couldn't find a job, my friends were always busy, my romantic life was nule, I was bored of everything and had no motivation to do things. When I came to Sweden, I was expecting so many things including professional (which are Ok) but especially personal ones... I'm 25 y.o. and haven't had a boyfriend before. I can't really explain why but I've always believed it's because I'm not good enough, not good looking and I act like an idiot. I feel sad, worthless, alone and disappointed. This abroad experience was supposed to make me happy and to open more doors to new people (friends/partner) but it hasn't been like that. I feel like I don't fit to this place and with the people. I don't want to go back to my homecountry but I don't want to stay here either. I feel like I always run away hoping for things to happen and to be happy somewhere else. I don't want to keep escaping. I want to be happy wherever I am :( thanks.

I'm in exactly same situation. I came to Ireland with high hopes to a new life and it all got worse.
I got worse in a way that helped me. I had to go to the doctor and I went to counselor. In the end everything is getting better...

@Tatety23 oh wow. I have wanted to speak to someone professional but I don't really know if that's worth the time and the effort. Thanks for sharing your experience with me ;)

@brightPlum9077 They convinced me to change a lot of things in my life. Like alimentation and exercises. It sucks, it's boring as fuck but actually work. I'm not cured or happy, but I'm way better than I was before. Exercises give you energy that you have to spend some way, even when I'm mentally not okay my body doesn't respond the same way and just say: you're up now, do something. And you can take this energy to work on yourself. That's what I'm doing.

I went on a vacation for 15 days and pause all this, oh man was brutal, I got worse so fast you have no idea... so this routine SUCKS SO BADLY, but it worth it.
