Should i/how to open up to partner
Hi, it's my first post so feeling a bit nervous but here goes. I have suffered from depression since I was in my first relationship, so for about 10 yrs. I've been with my current childhood sweetheart for 5yrsnow, and my depression feels as bad as ever. At first just like every new relationship it was amazing, and still to this day I love her to bits. I know the depression plays a big part in how I think but I feel my partners feelings for me have changed. My partner has been told she is showing signs that she could be starting the menopause (39yrs). But even bearing that in mind, her passion and the intimacy almost aren't there anymore. It's hard to get a kiss of her, and when I do she looks away now instead of at me like she used to, when I try to hug her she puts her hands on my chest instead of around me like she used to. I annoy her and pissher off it seems so easily these days. I ask her if she OK and if there's anything wrong, and she says no everything is OK, I try not to but can't help but ask her maybe more than I should, her reply is that I'm being needy and always wanting reassurance. Maybe I am, but imdepressed to the point that I just want to end it all, because of the way I feel our lives are changing, and I don't think she can see that.
Now we are going to have a talk later tonight, so should I confess to her how I'm really feeling, how dark my thoughts really are? I fear if I do then that could make her feelings for me even worse

Opening up to someone is the best thing keeping it to yourself will hurt you more cause you want to tell them but also hide it I think the best way for this is for you both to sit down and have a huge long talk to one another it will help you both understand what each other wants how each other feels and what's bothering you both between one another the truth hurts but lying hurts even more if you both have changed that's something serious to talk about she might be getting tired or something is on her mind she doesn't want to say cause she might not want to hurt you even though she already has by not telling you the truth in every single relationship any age difference there is always TRUST HONEST RESPECT NO LIES NO SECRETS LOYALTY with one another if she really loves you she wouldn't change for the worse she'll would have stayed the same person she was before but something must be bothering her and the only way to find out if your relationship is worth saving or not is to sit down. And talk to each other if she doesn't want to and says there's nothing to talk about or I'm to busy for this to work things out its pretty obvious she doesn't want to make things work or fix a few bumps along the way best of luck
