So a few weekends ago I finally opened up to my family after dealing with depression for almost 5 years now that I am depressed and that I hate my life. So I told my family I need help and want to seek help and my mom helped me find a Therapist. Today was my first session and it felt really good to get things off my chest and even though I cried during my first session it was really good. I am hoping this will help me and things will work out. I am also looking to join a youth group because I have ZERO friends so I am going to join one so I can make some friends and be social for once haha. :)

@BraveWarrior101,

I am really glad to hear that you opened up to your family, especially after having to deal with depression for so many years and by yourself as well. I can?t express how happy it makes me to hear that the therapist has been helping you out! That is always wonderful news. Sometimes crying is such a great outlet. It helps us to get rid of all of the negativity and let all of those thoughts flow out through our eyes! I?m sure you will get all the help you need and if you ever need anyone else to speak to (if your therapist isn?t available or you just need a friend), feel free to message me. Youth groups are absolutely awesome and it can be a great way to make new friends! I hope everything goes well for you! Sending lots of love and hugs your way!

@BraveWarrior101......It's great that you are going to therapy. I've cried in almost every therapy session I've had. It's a great outlet. It's where you should feel able to really let everything out. And give yourself time after each session to clear your mind. It's like trying to sort everything out that you just let out. Your doing a great job. Keep it up.
