The moment you truly feel that you gave up is....
Knowing I can't overcome her perfection. I will always be compared with her.
One day, some years ago, my dad told me he wouldn't believe me if I ever told him that someone did something to me...
It broke my heart, 'cause he's the one I had always been told to go to when something happened to me, so I knew I would have no one on my side if something did happen
They say now grades don't matter much, but growing up that's one of the many thing I was told I wasn't giving good enough results, now I'm anxious to the point of tears whenever I have an exam, a bad exam, a bad grade is enough to get me to the edge, I'm not sure I'll always be able to walk away
I feel like I give up all the time.
When I realized I wasn't good enough, & I never would be.
Nothing really happened, but I remember waking up in the middle of the night a few years ago with this terrible feeling that my fate was inevitable and I would never escape. All my roads were leading to one path. Depression and suicide run in my family, and I've heard terrible stories about my relatives who are either dead now or so detatched from reality they don't know what year it is. I remember thinking about how inevitable it all is, and I think that's the moment that I gave up.
You never fail until you stop trying
