Things I can't express

I feel like I have lie alot to deal with people. I pretend I'm ok or at leas half way decent. I do this because being puts people in position where they feel they must help but they usually are abit angry to be put on that spot so I've stopped. I've been trying to find professional help but doing it alone makes me feel like what's the point , who am I trying to get better for because I'm alone and if I get better I'll probably have to lie and pretend that this part of my life never happened just to make the people who are around me happy. I wake up most days asking myself why didn't I end it when I had a chance to, what was I hoping will change. I hate myself so much for so many things. Even this morning I'm thinking, why didn't I end it when I had the chance

You're a wonderful person who sacrifices their own problems for other's happiness.

But, it's okay to be selfish once in a while.

You deserve it.

@originalUnicorn79 Sometimes we want to care about others more than we want to help ourselves. Its okay to take time to yourself and practice self care. It doesn't make you selfish it helps you in your recovery process. Helping others can also make us feel good at the same time! So just make sure to balance it.

@HiMisterKyle you dont need to do it for anyone else but yourself. you owe it to yourself to become the best version of yourself and be happy. once you accept your past, there will come a day when you wont feel the need to lie to anyone about it. that is the first step to healing and growing.

@HiMisterKyle You should pursue self-recovery for yourself, not for anyone else. So that you can go on with your life and find the right people who WILL understand you. You will find people who do understand your situations and would want to help you regardless of whether you ask them or not. Don't give up on your life, because you can find the perfect enviroment for you. It just might take time.
