I have always had a very low self-esteem for the simple fact that there have been so many people who have always underestimated, humiliated, insulted me, etc. Since I was a child I have had to face all this and it has not been easy, it is not even easy to get up my self-esteem.

I totally agree. We all have to fight our battle, some wars are visible and some are not. We all are unique in our own way. The whole comparison tendency of masses seem futile to me.
